Ian Seabrook is a multi-award winning Underwater Director of Photography in the Motion Picture and Television Industry.

Amassing worldwide credits on such feature productions as “Indiana Jones”, “Batman v Superman”, “Deadpool 2” and “Jungle Cruise”, Seabrook has also contributed his skills to high profile documentary films such as “The Rescue” in addition to a prolific number of television, commercial, music videos and Imax productions.

“The Rescue” went on to win 3 Emmy Awards at the 43rd Annual News and Documentary Awards, 2022, including Outstanding Current Affairs Documentary.

In addition, Seabrook was awarded Best Cinematography at the 2021 Critics Choice Documentary Awards, and received the American Cinematheque’s 2021 Tribute To The Crafts Honor for Documentary Cinematography for his work on “The Rescue” in addition to being nominated for Outstanding Cinematography at the 2021 Cinema Eye Honors.

Other awards include double Gold & Silver Medals for Cinematography at the 2019 Telly Awards for his commercial work contributions.

A full member of the Society of Camera Operators, and the CSC, Seabrook holds both commercial and recreational diving certifications and is a member of International Cinematographer’s Guild Local 600 & 669.

Seabrook regularly works in waters across the globe, from the Pacific to the Caribbean to the Arctic Ocean.
